Friday 18 July Stuttgart to Paris

We spent a slow morning packing up, but couldn't do more internet because the hotel computer was dead. We left on our final Busabout leg at 11:30.
It was a long bus ride, with 3 stops along the way. Agriculture - mostly grain, villages etc.

At one stage the local authorities tried to relieve the boredom by decorating the roadside embankments with 2 or 3 dimensional geometric shapes.


They played 'Moulin Rouge' and 'Da Vinci Code' on the bus DVD.
We got to Paris at about 20:00, which gave us time for a quick circuit of the city before reaching the hostel.


As we'd had tea at our last stop, this gave us time for a visit to the laundromat up the street. While that was happening, we found the metro and a map, but as yet don't have a street map.
