Saturday 7th June

First an excellent breakfast provided by the hotel, then to the local optometrist to straighten my very bent glasses.



An open-top bus tour around the city followed, with a couple of guided walks, when we partook of the local fare, applewine and of course, frankfurts.




After lunch, we tried to go to the Archeological Museum, but it was closed. Instead, we ended up walking through the local fleamarket, then sitting by the river watching swans and ducks until it was time for evening vespers at the 'Dreikonigskirsche', which included a magnificent 4 item organ recital. Such a shame there were only 12 in the congregation.



Packed our bags after tea, ready for an early start.
