Arrived at Frankfurt airport at about 7:50, rather than the advertised 5:55. That meant we had some good views over Poland, which is usually in darkness.
Train to town, and settled in the Hotel Excelsior, opposite the station, by 10:00.
Showers,sorting suitcases, emails, then back to the station to check out our transport for Sunday. Bought lunch, and went down to the river.
Walked up to the old town centre, die Romer Platz, and to die Dom (cathedral). and staggered back exhausted. Slept for a bit, then had tea at the station and back to write this blog. It's 21:00, and the sun is just going down behind the station.
So now it's nearly time for bed.Thursday 5th June

Left Tullmarine 13:15 (1hr 15m late)
Left Sydney 17:30 (1hr 30m late)
A long day.
